Charon
$35.00
This is Charon, the ferryman of the River Styx. He serves the God of the Underworld, Hades and His job is to ferry the souls of the dead over the River Styx and into the Underworld where their journey would continue. He does this for the payment of one coin. You see, the ancient greeks knew this and would perform burial rites on their dead and a single coin would be placed under their tongues for this exact reason
Those who could not pay Charon were left behind. These souls would often be left wandering and haunt the world as ghosts
